We are so excited to be able to share with you the Good News! God loves you and has a plan for your life. That plan begins with understanding and accepting that 1) We are imperfect and make poor choices and often choose to do wrong, 2) That God is Perfect and wants to fellowship with us, but sin, our wrong choices and selfishness, separates us from Him, 3) Jesus Christ is the Way...God sent Jesus, His Son, to die for our sins and to restore us to fellowship with God through forgiveness. Unlike a human father who may disown a son who has disgraced him, our Heavenly Father chose to adopt us as sons and daughters even though we rejected Him. That is forgiveness. It is a free gift to us if we will receive it. You can pray a prayer like this:
Dear Lord, I know I have done wrong and sinned against you and your ways. Please forgive me. Please come into my life and be my Lord, Savior, and Friend. Thank you for your love and forgiveness and for the sacrifice you made for me. In Jesus' name, amen.
If you prayed this prayer, please let us know. We will be happy to respond, and we will rejoice with you in your decision! The Bible tells us that now you are a child of God and He accepts you fully. He loves you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. You will have a relationship with Him here and now, and you will also live in heaven for eternity.
Please begin reading your Bible. We recommend the New International Version in English or a modern version in your language and also that you start with the book of John. Also, please seek out a Christian church in your area where you can learn more about God and the decision you just made. We recommend you check out an evangelical church such as Baptist, Non-denominational, Methodist, or Presbyterian. Whatever church you attend, please read your Bible and make sure the church teaches the Bible.
